Sometimes our light goes out but is blown into a flame by another human being. Each of us owes deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this light.” – Albert Schweitzer

Through the years, many of us experience a multitude of ups and downs. Sometimes it seems that there are more downs than ups. However, in reflecting back, one can realize that the good times are taken for granted or minimized and the not so good times are expected and inflated. This often comes from years of programming. In truth, there are people who press our buttons and cause us to over react. Equally, there are many people who enter our lives who are genuine, who are nourishing, who are heaven sent at just the right time.

It is critically important that we be open to these people and recognize their worth as we go through this journey of life. It may be a chance meeting or a more in depth relationship. Regardless, each of them can and do rekindle our flame and were there at just the right time.

Make a conscious effort to look for them as the move gently and sometimes not so gently in and out of our lives.
